Both companies have their best sellers. All depends on your taste.

both have really good specs on their servos. Try basing it on whether your lhs has parts

never tryed airtonics... never needed too cause me ko's just keep going and going if you spend the money and get decent servo's that meet your requirements no matter what the brand you shouldnt have any problems.

only servo's i've had problem with were hitec ones which i bought at times when i needed a servo asap and its all my lhs had... all of them are in the trash now.

don't look at the numbers the servo companies provide you because they are like hp rating from engine manufacturers which is based on mathematical calcs and theories.

i used to only use airtronics but after i tried the ko digital, there's no going back. i haven't tried the airtronics digital yet though, i gotta admit. but the ko's are really nice and reliable. so personally, i'd go KO

I personally like futaba servos. Tried both Airtronics and KO servos, and futaba's are more reliable...in my opinion. The thing I didn't like about the KO servos, was the wire that begins from the servo to the lead. The wires frayed off the from the board, which made the servo glitch like crazy. I bought the 2343 FET servo, which costs anywhere from 1-110.00 For that amount, I would have thought I'd get a reliable servo.

I also like JR servos, which you would think, they'd be the same as KO servos, but I haven't had any problems with JR servos. I possibly just received a bad KO servo, but I won't be buying another one.

KO offers a unique line. The servos designated ICS on the chart are standard digital servos, and those with FET in their item number feature power boosting FET technology. KO also offers several relatively inexpensive plastic gears train servos with its high end metal gears units. ALL KO servos have coreless motors...

KO almost indestructable. plus gears and cases can be bought right off the web on the KO site.

I have 18 KO servos and in 5 years have killed just 2. one trying to use a lipoly barrery pack. It was not the servo's fault and I had one that the board where it connects to the motor fractured the connection. The servo's fault but it was very old.
