I like the Vectra body, and it is my usual
touring car body, but I wanted something more exotic.
And I think this will do fine . Also, Proline says that
the Vectra is made by Vexhaul, possible, but I've only seen
Vectra's as Opel cars.
Can't wait 'till I paint it, unfortunately, it looks like one of
those bodies that were meant for one color paint jobs or
purposeful race type paint jobs. We'll see

Vauxhaul has a car called Vectra, the Vauxhaul is an over seas name for Holden (australian)

There may be another company that makes a Vectra for R/C cars, but Vauxhaul and Holden have the International rights to the name Vectra

That picture big enough for you?
Because I can't quite make out the headlight sticker detail . I think I'll load this on my computer to design my color scheme.

If I can figure out how to make it a different size.

It's called " Opel Calibra" in Asia.
Just like Montero in the USA and Pajero in Asia for Mistubishi.

BTW....the Opel Calibra body I used when I was racing touring cars was made by HPI and not the Protoform. The HPI had a more detailed mold.

Strange...the only Opel Calibra in Hong Kong is the Opel "Vectra" Calibra! We still call them Opel Astra Coupe here!

Since we're talking about it. Heres my Proline Opel Astra painted in the fashion of the one from GT3. Its sitting next to the RCCA issue with the 1/4 scale version of the car. It was my first airbrushing job. I like the body, but the wing is a little high if you don't cut the mounts down.

Darkseid,
That car is still one of my favorites from GT3 (next to the Falcon XR8) Nice job on the paintwork. BTW I really don't look as goofy as that mag pic...

Bob: It was your paint job and your opinion about that body that inspired my paint job. As you can see since the picture I posted is along side your article. Heck until I read that review, I didn't even notice the car in GT3. I'd had the game forever, and never noticed. I like the car in GT3, but my favorite car by far on the game is the Tommy Kairi ZZII. Oooohhhh, boooooy do I love that car!

Im2lazy: Its kind of funny. The wing is only as high as the cars roof line. But it seems like its high enough to tough clouds in the sky! Proline gives lines to cut it down, and I plan to try that.

Naaah! The best by far car on GT3 is the Mugen NSX Castrol Damn Tamiya, wanted one, but they do the '96 scheme and not the '98 scheme (present on GT3)... For my next NSX tamiya body (TCS 2003 i'll do this scheme from scratch...) any website where I can find the decals?
