235 was still pretty strong in the midwest but when the bigblock 15's went away it pretty much put the nail in the coffin. There are still a few running alongside 200mm here.

Whatever happened to Neo? Cars and Parts might still be around (low cost).

Yeah those cars are great for the price and perform really well. You can buy two for the price of one 8th. They are quite durable too unlike the PRP.

Default tires

GRP, enetti, ATS, microsystem, UFRA, arrows, GS, they all make tires for 235.
Like I say do not wait for this class to open up again, it will not happen.
just race them in your club, If you find a few other drivers, they will likely will let you race them.
There is still a European championship held in France this year!!
Hope there will be a lot of drivers, because it very well might be the last time if not enough cars show up!!!!!!!!
So come and enjoy France in august!!!

Calandra will continue to provide tires. The real problem seems to be engines.
Big block .15's are getting quite scarce. Small blocks don't seem to provide enough oomph out of corners...

I have an immaculate Serpent Impact 2000 2wd, turnkey, if anyone is interested. This is the car I placed 2nd at the Winternats, ROAR nats, and TQ'ed and won numerous club and regional races with. Lots of extras...apparently there are still clubs racing 2wd, so if anyone knows someone who is looking to get in without spending too much, have them contact me. Thanks

RB has still big blocks,
Novarossi also.

The smallblock ooomp out of corners is not to bad if you avoid real big tires.
Mega's topspeed though mmmm...
Also there are the rody tuned smallblocks very expensive, but reliable,
the novarossi NS5, not tested yet, but whe have a special series of JP modded NS15 coming our way....
Sirio has a 2,5 smallblock, performance not known...
And there is the Max engine 8 port, so not legal for us overhere, A BOMB...
Any other engines known, or performances, please share it here, so everyone can learn from it.
Let's get organised a bit. The diehard corner....

Pardon my ignorance, but who decides if one class dies or stays? I thought it was the racers themselves....... I think there are still a lot of people interested in this class to let it extiguish just like that, if poeple organized and write to ROAR or whichever is the organization that decided to kill the class, showing interest in the class, wouldn't they take a second look to the class?, just a thought..........

Are the racing .15s the same dimensions (mounting, crank, etc.) as the racing .12s?

The small block 15 is the same case etc as the .12s. ONly the P/L is different in size. The big block 15 is same size case as a 21.

JLMG
we are still running it in the Midwest Series. were mixing the 200mm outlaws with the 235's that remain. 200MM outlaws are restriicted to 12 engines to level the field somewhat.

235 is still a recognized class with roar(outlaw). because of the lack of interest most manufacturers stopped making new kits.i think you can get a serpent 835 new but i don't know of any others.unfortunently the racers have spoken and in general, went to other classes.
