Hmmm!!! Looks like the Mugen GT car is going to be a player in the class. Since this is the short chassis (based off the MBX 7), I wonder if they will offer a long chassis version based off their MBX 7T? Since I have been a Mugen loyalist for a number of years, may add this to my racing arsenal.

Made me smile when I saw it, made me want want when I thought about it, made me realise I need to be patient when I saw the rubber wheels.

I think the Mugen brand will help get interest downunder as well.

I've watched Mugen conversions run in LA for the past two years. Cars are quick, conversion was well done. Will be interesting to compair production car to the conversions.

The K car got this class kicked off back in 2007 and I was able to climb aboard and help get the class kicked off in two states back then. I have seen all the other contenders join in along the way. None never peaked my interest and I stuck with the K car. Since they (the K USA company) have abandoned the car and class, I haven't raced mine much (even though it is still competitive). This new offering has peaked my interest enough to come back home to Mugen.

Seeing it in action is all good, but when will it be available so that I can put it in my hand and put it to action myself?

Thumbs up My 2 cents

The Mugen MGT7 is an awesome car. I have been running a converted one in LA for the last two years. I was really happy with my conversion until I saw the production kit. The car is well put together and looks very clean. We ran the new car in Fort Meyers for the winternats, and was very impressed with everything. No failures and very easy to work on. Mugen really did there homework on this one. In my opinion this car should absolutely be taken into consideration for anyone already running GT, or anyone looking to get into GT.

Still no word on availability or pricing. With a short summer nitro season here in the NW it would have to come out pretty soon for me to consider it for this year. However Im excited to see more on this car

If that is the case, cool deal!!!! I hope that they release some of the essential replacement parts at the same time for the "just in case".
