It died an almighty death due to lack of support and development and some radio/flex issues causing gears to strip on gearbox.

We ran the car for two years in Australia. The link Roelof posted should have plenty of information. But at the end of the day HPI hasn't released a single new part for the car since it was released. The factory drivers don't run the receiver in the stock location due to the issues they have with heat from the exhaust. They also run a custom rear 2 speed shaft not available to anyone else that uses Capricorn Kevlar pullies.

Thanks Bundy Bear for the info !

Better buy another brand then for 1:10 nitro races ?
Capricorn C03 ?
Mugen MTX-6 ?
Xray NT1 ?

Greetz,

Have a look at your local club and see what most others are using and also at lhs and see what is easiest to get parts for is my best advice. For us it came down to this "To finish first, first you must finish." And with that we decided to run the Xray NT1 for this year as it works and is high quality.
