Has anyone tested another pipes on there os .18tz? I'm currently running the smallest pipe and manifold novarossi makes. The one for the high rpm power band

............Is that pipe originally made for a .12 size motor?? I had a Vantage .18 size pipe on my OS.18 but it looks like they have gone outta business.

Yes it is, I thought about running a .21 on road pipe.

I believe that your tranny is skipping first gear and going immediately into second gear continue to adjust the shift point screw about 1/8 of a turn until hear it shift. Looks fast!!

lol it was, ive since upped the gear ratio and tighten the tranny a little. the engine isnt much of a high rpm power engine . it likes to run lower in the power band.

yeah but it shifts and its immediately screaming again. it sounds like a regular shift if you aren't pinning the throttle back

18tz is the way to go with a small block set up. Mines was done by Maxy from Maxy's Fuel and hit 90 at the 2009 ISC event. Similar set up to what NH has with the vantage pipe but was in an HPI Racer2. The car had been close to triple digits in testing.

The rs4 has different gearing I'm guessing. This engine is a beast just I can't get the right gearing

I think you must look at the 4-stroke conversion kits, there are larger pinions with it.
