One off a Nova Rossi .21 motor . But let a engine builder put it on the motor. You would have to bore out the carb opening on the TZ.18.

Has anyone tried installing and os .18 or .12 on and xray? It seems the clutch set up is just to long and it makes the whole assembly sit past the spur gears

.................When you start putting a big block in a 1/10 scale onroad car be ready to do some improvising, in other words making you own parts , for your X-RAY you may have to make your own engine blocks to make everything line up right.

I fabricated it in , but there's a new issue. I can't seem to remember how to set up these clutches. It's either engaging to early or fully locked when I tighten down the screw at the end of the pilot shaft

..................Go to the X-RAY website and I am sure you will find instructions on how to tune the clutch. Try this link for X-RAY ....http://www.teamxray.com/xshop/produc...170f1cab5614aa

Did you remove all the shims? If so when screwing the endtip and the clutchbell is locked up you should check the cone. If there is a lot of space between the engine front bearing and the fly wheel yoy should try another cone or grind down the current cone.
If not, try to get 3x5 shims you can place between the crankshaft and the endtip.

What I ended up doing was removing all the shims and running a smaller screw. This allowed me to have a minimal play with the clutch bell... Untill it heats up and it just stays engaged to the point where I stop the car from moving the engine will cut off. I'm still breaking in my engine tho. And you mean grind the cone so the fly wheel sits closer to the front Bering? And can you explain exactly what you mean by the shims

Search on youtube to SALVEN CENTAX and you will get a nice video how to setup a clutch
With a 1/10 the gap must be 0.5 to 0.6mm and the endplay still about 0.1 to 0.2mm

And yes, if there is enough room to get the flywheel closer to the engine and you can not sat the gap large enough then grind the cone at the engine side. If you still can not the the right amount of gap you can make the crankshaft longer with a 3x5 shimm on top of the crankshaft.

The os.18tz drag modded has monster torque in my nt1. Starts to lift the whole front of the car. It's lacking in top end , might have to fabricate some customs gears
