Not to mislead you for drag racing, a 1/5 scale is gonna cost you some money. To match the speed you could get out of a 1/10 scale drag car you would need a highly modified 2 cycle motor or even a inline twin , you are looking at about $600.00- $1200.00 dollars right there then you will need custom gears made, very expensive plus custom tires. I would not recommend 1/5 scale for drag racing unless you have bottom less pockets.

Car boy what header you using with that ercm pipe? is it a small block or the big block ERCM pipe? I have the .18tz also to go on a 748 natrix

The best modification you can do to a 18TZ in open the carburator a little to allow more air and in turn, more fuel. I have been doing it for a while in drag racing with outstanding results. Another option, although hard to find, is to replace the carburator with a Rossi Pixy .12 carburator. It is a direct fit and there is no need for the OS carb insert.

Why go small when you could put a .21 size carb in it??

What .21 carb you would use on a mod 18tz
