put those in anyways and realign engine and install gears and see how it goes. So far my investment cost me about 60 bucks for upgrades.
If u can fix your problems wit the hop ups for a good price do so....it's a good Car at the end of th's day...all MugenSeiki did wit the 6 was to fix th's problems on the 5.... so don't think u have a lesser Car!!! The 6 is the same Car but without the flaws....

Yeah I fixed the problems superb car now, way different in handling handles alot better I recommend this this to mtx5 owners rather than spend about 600 bills for the same car again
my next mod will get the springs from mtx6 and put them on mtx5

Default 6 Gears on the 5

Make sure u get the new clutch bell and the new wider pinions too you can't just upgrade the Spurs you must do the pinions too.
But really, with a good brace it's not needed once I braced my 5 I need stripped gears.
P.S. The 6 is better in so many ways. Wait until you strip a front belt and only have 10 minutes to do a 25 min job... I found it qicker to take the left hand front bulkhead off.
