Default need help tuning-noobie

ok i got my car up and running, engine is broke-in, i have a rs4 rtr3 evo, i only messed with the top needle,the response is good and speed is ok, but sometimes when i hit full throttle it dies? do i still need to adjust the side needle or is the engine running lean? or is it still rich? need help.
