Regarding the imaged it looks like an LM/Sirio based engine. If so then the crankshaft must be 14.2mm in diameter.

That one is LM made. Sirio and Team Orion are the same kind of engines.

Look at the "ears" with the mounting holes and the groove on the side, that design is tipical LM

The GRP made has compleetly different "ears"

Boss were distributed by Schepis Model in Italy!
They are based on the Sirio CL7R, but tuned by Mario Rossi.

Sirio CL7R:

Prior to the Boss range, Schepis Model had their own line of engines named "Schepis" which were based on the CL7R also but essentially a tuned down version

Schepis Model 21 Pro:

Mario Rossi joined Schepis Model in 2009, they released the Boss range of engines which were also distributed by Schepis Model.

Boss:

Mario then proceeded to start REDS, which originally were also Sirio CL7R based.

Original REDS:

Then moved onto making the REDS which we know today which are Picco based engines!!

Sirio started to produce the Sirio - Seven On which was quite a bit different, then the IDM T7T and now the XRD F21HT

All these have roots in the CL7R and are made by LM, despite what they might want you to think

Any and all of the aforementioned engines, are extremely quick! Not knocking them in any way just a somewhat interesting lineage...

But like racing drivers, engine tuners jump ship too and branding follows them Ielasi has tuned for IDM (Picco based), Sonic Ielasi Tuned, IDM (Sirio based) and now RB... Mario Rossi has been at more than few engine companies too, think people look too much into re-branding it's not reputation avoiding, it's just another marketing strategy.

You might be able to find parts for your Boss engine through the Italian distribution company Schepis Model.
