The MT-12 is a long rod type motor and hence the button cannot fit the STS short rod type motor.

InitialD it will fit. It's not supposed to but it will work. I think it is because of the depth of the button crater on the bottom of sts head. I have a MT12 button on my STS right now and it snugs up. I will replace it with the correct one when I have time though.

[email protected] my front bearing is leaking. We've seen it so far in a few others so far, anyone else have that problem? Is it caused by an overly rich bottom?

Cool info, thanks Dino.

Tambok: the motor is fast, I've just been having a little tuning problems, possibly because of air leaks.

That is exactly what happend to my seal. I did not have the right washer, and it took out the seal!!!!
Dino was very concerned about this, and brought this to my attention, once I replaced the seal, let the party begin!
For the price, it is worth trying. I have never run a JP, so I cannot compare performance.
But, where I race, I have some top racers to run against, Marty Barnes, Brian Bodine, just to mention a few, and even though I do not have a chance against these guys, they were impressed with it!
Hey Tambok, you get my PM?

Dino: Will the 7x10 shim fix a leaking bearing, or are the bearings already permanently damaged?
