The first part number is for the V3 latest shocks and the second part number is for when the shocks used clips to secure the piston.
They outer diameter will work in any big bore, however the piston is specific to the shock shaft. The new shaft takes a screw and the inner diameter of the newer version piston is larger for that part.
Hoe this helps,

Just what I needed to know.
Next time your on DJ. Can you tell me. Do you still use 1 hole, 500cst (50 weight) oil on your usual set up, even on the V3 Big Bore shock's?

When I stopped using the Big Bore stuff I was typically using 3 hole all around or 2 hole front and 3 hole rear. Most of the time I used 1,000 wt oil with these settings and 3.9 springs front and rear. For super high traction I would go heavier with the oil and soft springs. 1300 oil and 3.2 springs or electric springs.

So when I got my last kit I started using the standard shocks. It seemed the customers mostly ran the standard stuff and I wanted to show that either shock package can do well and also so I could help them more with the standard shock settings.

I will try the 3 hole all round and go from there.
I guess then, on Nick's advice. I'll bring all 6 pair's of Big Bore and 3 pair's of standard shock's for DJ to build for me next time hehe.
Should keep you busy for a little while DJ. Even at the speed you build this stuff
Thank's again.

The C03 bulkheads have been strengthened to stop them from breaking on the known weak spot.
I have a complete used C02 front end available if you're interested. The left lower has a crack on the known weak spot.

It's possible to use C03 front lower bulkheads. You only have to grind away the small locating tab which is used for the eccentric bearing holders.

Thanks for the info DS! was hoping that was the case with the front bulkheads. Have plenty of Front end parts to last through the season just short on lower bulkheads.
