Default Tamiya TG-10

Hi everyone,

I am facing this dilemma and it would be great to get an advice from more experienced members when it comes down to nitro cars than I am.

Although I have an EP car and currently, the future of EP cars seems kind of brighter to me, I'd love to own a nitro car, mainly for bashing. And here comes the brand new kit of fairly old TG-10 for a good price. Since it would be my very first nitro/4WD/Tamiya, I'd like not to spend a fortune on it. I am aware of its obsolete construction and some of the other cons, still, it's capable of driving . I looked up for some spares but I'm not sure there is still enough of them on the market, most importantly the crucial parts, so the general question I have is this: is it already too risky to buy such an oldtimer nowadays?

Thank you for your time & advice.
