I would never tell you to shut up Robbie By the way I got my sway bars the very next day as you said I would. YOU GUYS ROCK!
I know I didn't mean it that way.

I'm not really into comparing, Revelation should strive for being one of the best tracks in the country. I thaught with this second go arround of the track it would be different but I guess I was wrong.
Jeff did you race at this track in the 90's when it first opened?
I did and nothing has changed in regards to upgrades.
Back then I raced electric with rubber tires he never had to spray the track and it was great but then there was no off road track on the property.
The way I look at it is nothing has changed and it probraly never will. (it is what it is)
For all attending this race good luck and have fun.

Default RE

I must admit I have never raced at Rev as I don't consider Rev to be an 1/8 track. At best it's a sedan track and maybe a 835mm class at biggest. I have attended a few races there(to watch) and every time I do it just reminds me more why I don't race 1/8 there. Now you guys are talking about issues I never knew existed. Just makes more sense to me NOT to race(1/8) there. I assume Dana does NOT read this forum.....if he did maybe things might change.

Robbie, walter, Leo. you guys need to contact Ted hammer of the toledo club and get the tracks traction recipe. It is water, caster oil (actually old donated nitrofuel in many cases) and mountain dew syrup. recommend Dana start using this formula that way the track won't build like the vht does to it. The problem with VHT when its thick is its real tacky when its cold and greasy when it gets hot. It works when its not built up but rev has high build. The formula above does not build, washes away when it rains and stays consistant all day. Also its way less money than VHT. anyone who has run at toledo will tell you their formula makes traction.

also 65 bucks is nuts. Toledo did a complete resurface last year and our level 3 races are 25 for the first car and 15 for the second. Club days are 15. Now I understand why your turnouts at rev are falling off!!!

Hey Guys, we actually got the recipe from Ted and tried it for the past 3 outings here in Vegas, and we actually like it alot...Granted the "dust" at the Silverbowl will always be there, you wouldn't have to worry about it to much in Ohio and at Rev.... It's 4.5 gallons methanol, 1 qt "soda syrup", and 1 qt castor oil.....(a 5 gallon mixture total) Maybe he can try it, and see for yourself... It works well here in Vegas from our initial testings "thus far"....

Thanks Motorman & ghoppa for the reply. I will talk with Dana tomorrow and try to do everything I can to convince him to do that. Hopefully we get good results.
