Default MOtors

150 guys x(5 motors each x $600)

$3,000 x 150 racers = $450,000

= WOW!

Just a thought...........................

Now try the same calculation for a typical F1 race with far less participants...

Rc Car racers do not have sponsorship from Wall Street AKA. Tobaccoo and or Alcohol sponsors which almost every F! team has one or the other or both.

Kind of like comparing salaries of little league baseball players to major leagures.

It's pretty early to make predicitions but I won't be surprised if Adrien Bertin takes the number 1 spot. He dominated controlled practise and is now dominating the quals. He's been on a roll for a while taking a number of high profile victories. Collari was good in controlled practise but he'll have to fight for number 1 as he has dropped to 23. He hasn't driven 41 laps yet in the quals but I expect he will as he did so in controlled practise. Picco is showing very consistent performance too with his position staying pretty much the same from practise to quals. Team Japan has figured out what to do and is now coming alive.

Salven and Swagger are now getting their groove tuning the ultimate setup on their cars. I'd be very surprised to see Mike take number 1 though. The field of good drivers is very large. As for Salven, unless he is completely cursed with bad luck or is completely distracted as Serpent's new CEO, he should move up to the top 10 before the finals.

Despite the fact that Mugen absolutely dominates the event with 67 percent of the cars being from Mugen (no doubt the MRX-4), Kyosho may win . . . again! That's got to sting for Mugen if they do.

it is early to say but I would have to say that Bertin and Swauger has to be the early favorite just because those two are the only ones to run 41 laps on both of thier qualifiers. I'm sure Swauger is running the approved fuel. This is not his first worlds event, so i would think he and team mugen knows how to run on the lower percentage.
