I have had no problem removing engines. I usually will leave the engine mount in place and remove the engine and pipe with just 5 screws..

Absolutely loving the car. Ran it hard for the first time today...I needed to break in a new motor. I made very small changes to the car through out the day and the car was responsive. Having first race tomorrow.
If anyone is out here on the east coast and want to get some great racing against some of the best.
Debbies RC World- September 6th & 7th... here is the Facebook link if anyone feels like checking it out.

Thumbs up Diffs

Hi guys,
I'm intersted in feed back regarding dif oils.
I saw a post a while back and I'd like to hear form others too.
How many are running the 1000k weight in the front?
And what's the take on that.
At my local track I was running 300k and 80k in my 5 and was happy with that combination.
When I first set up my 6 I decided to run 500k and 80k and I'm not getting the balance I want, it has to much under steer in to the corner. And over steer coming out..
I haven't tried 1000k or 300k yet..
What are you guys finding..

As far as the diffs go I'm running stock setup. Car rotates very well on power without loosing any steering. I'm also running stock shocks and springs. I raised the front/upper hinge pin....so the set screw is pushing up on them. These changes are good for my track but the stock diff set up works well for me.

Questions?? Body position?

I watched the video on efra's web sit and Robert was talking about the effect of body position.
Is they any ideas out there about how to move it froward or back without having to fit a new body and cut new holes?

Not real sure... you would have to cut a new body due to wheels. Unless you made really wide spots for your wheels.

Hopefully I'll start break in of my Nova Keep On this weekend, does the car/chassis itself take long to break in/settle?

No, not really. The springs may take a little bit to settle but the kit is pretty solid. Like any other new kit you wanna double check the screws once and while.
I did have a little bit of rubbing with the battery wire. I ended up running it behind the fuel tank instead of snaking it through the tank and the servo. My battery wire was a little short. If it wasn't I would still run it behind the tank.

Car is awesome though...

This past weekend at the GLC I tried the yellow spring ( softer ) raised the upper arms up in the front, put 700wt in all four shocks and ran 50,000 in the rear and 300,000 in the front diff.....probably should had put 500,000 in the front.
-4 degree of camber in the rear with -2 degrees of rear toe.

Car was good until the rear diff leaked all the fluid out, ( my fault for not changing the gasket )
