I saw Jeff Hamon's New 6 in action yesterday and it's awesome.
He was all smiles and very impressed with its handling and speed.
It looks Strong as in the rear the extra chassis material underneath, new bulckhead and the carbon braces all together make it ridged and predictable.
Braking is awesome too.
I recon mugen has hit this one out of the park.
I get the impression they have left nothing to chance and there is some over kill with this car.
Mine is on order and will be here next week....

Jeff Hamon wins Queeensland state titles this weekend with the new Mugen MTX6
Jeff drove the car for the first time 2 days before the event.
Straight away the car was quick out of the box, mostly factory setup with a few local preferences.
Over the weekend he continued to tune the car to suit the new feel.
I asked him what the thought of the new car and with a big smile he just said
"you're going to love this new car it's so good to drive"
Even with the addition of new components the car was able to weight in very respectably right on the money. The optional aluminium 7 & 8mm balls and the new smaller 4mm balls would have helped get the car on weight.
Jeff was telling me the MTX 6 was very responsive to tuning changes and predictable. With the chassis locked up tight the suspension can do its job with no cross feed back from chases flex.

Well done mate, great drive.

Ran the car for the first time this weekend at the NovaRossi Challenge race this weekend in California, and the car is very easy to drive... diffs didn't leak at all the whole weekend.... kit setup had the car close but changed a few things (diff fluid and shock position. Was able to take T/Q with the car after four qualifiers but in the main the driver didn't do his job.lol. Ran the new protoform body with the car and its seems like a pretty nice combo.
No stripped gears, and awesome braking.
Cant wait for the next chance to try the car out again.
