I liked the idea of 0 but have never tried it, I've alway but built them with rebound..
They will go to Zero after a few runs anyways and will feel better when they do.
I believe it's best to get them as close to Zero and go from there.
I've been building Mugen shocks about 19 years and they've always worked best (for me) that way.

Thumbs up Titanium lower arm balls

Hi guys,
When I was running my 5s I used some TEAM CSO Titanium pivot ball part number MTX 5015 or MRX 5002 $21 ish..
The Mugen ones are very pricie part number H0187/2.
I can't find any one that still sell them. Both the Hong Kong guys done have and say they can't get stock.
Does anyone know where to get them from. Or some else that makes a cheaper option then the a Mugen ones.

Thumbs up Mini dean connectors

Hi mate I use mini or micro, dean connectors.
I actually cut the battery pack open and run new longer silicon leads, I rebuild the battery pack re heat heat shrink it.
The neat trick is to mount the recover plug through the body of the radio box and only leave the pin and scocket external.
I borrowed this idea from someone famous...
I will see if I can post a few photos.

+1

Soldered new wiring to the battery, have it exit the battery towards the front of the car and then have it move across underneath the fueltank and run it backwards together with the servo wires.
I drilled a hole in the receiver box and glued the jst connector on top of the box.

For this year I will make a little clip at the backside of the box which holds the battery wire in place when it's not plugged in.

Default mtx6

The mtx6 has just recently been released, it is a popular car? Do you guys think it will sell for Mugen?

I have read that it is a very good car, but with the RC hobby being less and less popular in the recent years, do people still buy these expensive kit cars?

Yes, and Mugen is a very competitive product. On-road is not as popular as off road with respect to the volume of racing participants in the US. Almost every manufacturer has a new 1/10 scale nitro car on the market (Serpent, Shepherd, Xray, Mugen, Capricorn ).

From your earlier posts you have experimented with rear diff fluids for your driving style, here are the adjustments that I would try:
1. front droop: increase .5 -1 mm
2. sway bars : first, decrease rear dia. second, increase front dia.
3. springs rate : first, rear shocks more angled down second, front move up one hole higher
4. roll center : first, lower rear roll center , second raise front roll center.

U Really have to determined do u want to decrease steering or just plant your rear?? Some time u can just give the Car more toe at the rear an that hooks up the back of the Car....an if I was u I would play wit tires shore also...it's Big on this Car because of the mass steering...

Where do you need more rear grip?. Off throttle corner entry, mid corner, or on throttle corner exit?.

First I would check is if everything is as it should be. So nothing binding, everything same length, no tweak etc.

Reason I'm suggesting this is because the kit setup is quite a safe and understeering setup. For me it didn't had any steering at all.

If you want to reduce the mid-corner and on-throttle steering I would suggest trying the following:

-Lowering rear rollcentre
-Softer rear ARB
-Thinner oil in rear shocks
