Default Head button interchangeability?

Can I interchange head buttons from different engines? The reason why I'm asking is because some of my engines have a thick head button and others have a thin one. Is it ok if If I mix?
If it helps, they are mt-12, sx-12, and rs12 engines.

Thanks.

Be carefull with the thickness. Both the thin & thick can be used on the long rod engines (the piston sleeve protrudes from the crankcase). You can only use the thick button on the short rod engines (the piston sleeve is recessed into the crankcase).
