I think any brand of shocks is good enough for your car.
Because they are designed for racing.
If you change the titanium coated shock shafts and take a good care to the shocks.
It can be really smooth...

I agree. If you build them well, use the tini shafts and delrin machined shaft guides you'll get beautiful shocks regardless of which major brand. I've ran Kyosho and Mugen in the past but I'm 100% Serpent now and I have to say they all have nice shocks. The Serpent RCM shocks I run now are absolutely butter smooth

I'm not taking sides on this one but my personal vote goes to Team Shepherd for design as well as execution. That said the other companies have fantastic products these days.

I ran em all......kyo, xray, shepherd, capricorn and serpent......like a few have stated there all good, but I agree I really liked shepherd shocks! Check them out, not a lot of folks know about em cause very few have run a shepherd car......
