A 5 cell 2/3 6V stick pack Receiver battery is your best bet. RC Mart sells an Intellect 1400mAh 6V (#14005B) for only $14.60 USD. I have this battery and a full charge will last you through a day of racing.
Thanks Shocker, actually my LHS have spare part it just that the sales person just went on hoilday. But this RC Mart have a lot of stuffs more than our LHS...Thanks again....

Bro,1100mah receiver batts are okay... Most of the people in our track use 1100mah batts as rx pack.

Has Ofna discontinued the Pro kit from its line up? Does this mean the Pro is no longer available or just as the Ofna brand?

Hey RB,
The GPX4 Pro is OFNA/Hobao's flagship 1/10th nitro sedan. I was talking with a friend who races the CD3 Pro sedan and he mentioned that OFNA will be dropping it as their main sedan. I'm not certain if that means they'll discontinue the CD3 or not, but rather market it like the LD3, try to break even on their investment. I believe OFNA/Hobao is very confident of the GPX4 Pro's ability to succeed as a competitor in the highly contested 1/10th Pro sedan class. Unlike the CD3, the GPX4 has been successful and competitive in it's class, just see what Team driver, Jeff Lin, has done the past season. OFNA/Hobao realizes the belt driven design chassis is at this moment, performing better than the shaft driven design in high competition. As previously mentioned, because of the CD3's failure to compete with the high end competition, it could explain OFNA's current lack of marketing on the GPX4 Pro. But Hobao has already began market the GPX4 Pro as their number one nitro sedan. I've sent OFNA e-mail asking why, for the lack of info and tech support, and the only answer I'm getting is "Thank you for your support, we will have more info and tech support real soon". I can only guess, it is what it is?!!
Just my two cents

Thanks guys... I see RCmart have them listed at competitive price. I still prefer a shaft drive car, it it easier to work on and it suits my driving better.

Having said that i have had a Hyper 8 and i do like the workmanship of HoBao.

Thank you swerv! It's good to have extra parts. Especially since, so far, I'm the only one in our club who drives a GPX4
Regards

Hi Shocker,

Can u roughly state down how to tune a engine after break in? I have problem to get more power without overheat the hyper 12 engine...at least my cheapo Cen engine is far better than that...the hyper engine roar when I try to move the wheel/car...maybe require higher rpm than cen...but is there any setting or better way or the clutch (saw the manual dist A -dist B = 0.3mm~1.0mm) to make lower rpm to move the car slowly...
