What do you dilute VHT with to to spray it on the track? Some people say alcohol, I want to use water. Help.

grinder: use gasoline 50/50 mix. If you want it to be real sticky, use 60/40 ( VHT to gas ). If you really want to save alot of money for your track, but a whole drum of VHT. It'll last you the whole season

Methanol is what works the best and it is stable.

Grinder;

DO NOT use gasoline to dilute your VHT.

Gasoline will attack and damage the asphalt and unless you own the property, NOT a very good idea.

Methanol at 50/50 is the standard for dilution of VHT.

Pops is right, the gas will eat up the asphault or slurry and you will end up with gravel and holes. Could work on concrete though!

Can somebody please post some links to VHT information?

Where is it sold?
Price?
Characteristics?
Will it work on 60 deg. celcius (140F) asphalt?

Thank you

If you have raced with and without it, or worse on a track sprayed with soda. The question would be how can you race without it?

The problem i have herd many times is that there is only a very small line left after being sprayed and this is usually laid by the 1/8th scale cars and if u get off this small line it's horrible. This is the problem for NT because the 1/8th line is not conducive forthe NT's.

VP sells it Lane Choice 7 (LC7) and Methanol (M1). If you buy a
5 gallons of each and use 50/50 you should be good. I've purchased it for $133.
