Picked up a full RTR for $375... Comes in today! 748WC

What optionals should I order for medium-high grip asphalt? Any special onroad setup tools I need to get? Centax is out of stock...

To be honest the car doesnít need anything except maybe the alu servo horn for the steering. The car is great box stock.
Head over to the Serpent website and find a setup that suits your conditions but I used to run blue front springs pink rear springs. 800cst 3 hole all round. 2.5M in front diff and 80k in rear diff almost everywhere.

Hey Dan quick question, I see that Dominic and other drivers used to run RCM-SS shocks on 748 and some still do on 750. Is there any benefit of using RCM-SS shocks? Honestly I don't like the big bore shocks they leak air from the x-ring no matter how much green slime I tried to apply. I also have a set of brand new RCM Short shocks (with 747 towers) from my 747 I can use, but 2 orings in each shock keep me thinking (too much firction maybe?).

I also bought the LF pistons for the bigbores but turns out the hole size is quite smaller and they dont fit the shafts well, so I went back to the original 3 hole white pistons.

Thanks!

the old shocks are longer thatís all really. You can run them on the 748WC with the old 748 or 747 shock towers from the original 748.

ive never had an issue with the standard shocks on 748WC or 750. Maybe Iím just lucky? Mine never leak at all.

the problem with the LF pistons and guides is that they swell up when in contact with oil and so the shock ends up getting bound up. The standard shocks and guides are better.

if you do have issues with the lower oring leaking you can add a shin to add a little more pressure to the oring to seal better. Another o ring would be too much.
