Isn't it a little strange the lenght of our qualfiying sessions compared to the finals? Qualifying happens to be only 5 minutes, the lower mains are 15min, 30 min, then 1 hour long final. What if a different qualifying length, main lenght were used? What about a tripple A mains similar to 1/12th ifmar? It seems so dissappointing to see some racers lose a race because of a broken belt or a tangle with traffic.

I say that's racing. If we go on the what if's, then it isn't fair that Rusty Wallace cut a tire in the race, or the pit crew left the lug nuts loose.

In real racing, you get one chance, and if you don't have your stuff spot on, you don't stand a chance at winning, plain and simple.

I can't see John Force telling NHRA officals, we need to re-run that race because my blower belt came off.

And last time I checked, F1, SCCA, NASCAR qualifying only has 1 or 2 laps, but the race is in the hundreds? Same thing isn't it?

Pooh, You obviously know nothing about these cars! I campaigned the XR8 all summer & did quite well with it. My previous car was an Evolva & the XR8 is every bit as good as the others (especially Mugen).

Default Mr. Pooh

Hey Pooh,

We missed you in Florida. We pitted next to Richey and Chester P again and had a great time with them. Again they did there best to help us old guys get a long.

See ya in Ft. Meyers!

Hey Scott, Again thanks again to you and Rich for all of your help! P.S. I leave the green apples up to Baby Drew!

Mark
