Personally Im not a big Picco fan.Im not sure how much it costs, but if you're on a budget look at the OS line. You can pickup a TR for around 110-120.Or better yet the new TZ.I think I remeber someone saying they can be had for around 190.00.That would be a much better choice in my mind.Im sure others will have different opinions.

Do your self a favor if you're planning on racing.Do cut yourself short on the motor, make the investment in a good motor. You'll be glad you did!!

In my opinion, most race motors are too finiky/flaky...hard to tune. O.S. motors are much more forgiving. Up until a few months ago, they were a little on the slow side. However, with the introduction of the TZ line, all that has changed. Now you can have your cake and eat it too, I'd recomend the O.S. motors over any other...

They are actually damn fast engines but have two problems:

a.) the carburator is crap, but can be exchanged for a novarossi carb w/o modifications.

b.) the conrods tend to give up when the engine is not tuned correctly.

whats the differance between the xp and xt? one of our guys has been running the xt for 2 1/2 gallons and its stupid fast and no problems. i found the ofna picco .12 xt for $99.99. has good specs. cant afford a tz right now. besides if i get the tz i'd like to save it for the series races and such. just trying to get some feedback on this motor for club racing, but still want to be competative. thanks for the help you guys.

i would save up and get the TZ, and if it wears out just a new Piston sleeve and conrod, u can get all the new stuff for less than 100. and the tz is a very fast and reliable motor
