Default Crazy Nut Racing

Hi guys. Just wanted to pass along a little info. on a new product I've recently purchased. This guy deserves his props, this is easily the most awesome heat sink I've ever bought. It's not listed on his site yet, but mine is for a Nova Rossi based .12, $50 shipped. Check him out.

looks like it would be tough to get at the engine mount screws with the head on - you had any problems with that?

Default Nut,

this is funny.

I saw the guys .21 heads on Ebay and send him a mail about Nova .12 heads.
He told me that he had no chance yet to get his hands on an original head for measurements, but if I had one I'd get the first one dirt cheap.
So I sent him one of my MT12 heads, he took his measurements and today I got mine in the mail.

It's a beauty and it weighs almost nothing.

I'm eager to see how it'll do in the car.

The only drawback is that it has no notches for the wrench to tighten the mounting screws.

yeah, I already ordered one the workmanship looks very good for the price. I figure I'll just get the engine on the mounts before the head gets here.

I had also e-mailed him when I saw his first head on E-Bay. My suggestion was to use the mounting pattern for the T-Maxx .15 head he makes (same as a Nova Rossi .12), but to allow the use of a button. That way we could use it. He sent me an e-mail tonight saying we'll see an ad in a major magazine as soon as he gets the $2500.00 to pay for it. As far as getting to the engine screws, use an MIP ball tipped driver. Works great from any angle.

Default They work!!!

Although I dont use his brand, the extra large cooling head works, especially inside a sedan body with the ROAR "blow up your motor" hole size allowed!!! It loooks sweet!!!

How do you guys like your "Crazy Nut Racing heads"? I would like to know how good they perform before I purchase one....I'm stuck between purchasing the crazy nut, zspeed, or Kawahara?

Thanks in advance!

Go for the Crazy Nut. It's larger in diam., taller, and lighter than anything you'll ever find. The Z-Speed looks good, but is no bigger than your stock head. The Kawahara also looks good and it's larger, but it's cast, not machined. I own each of these heads along with several others (O'Donnell, Powerline, Hardcore, ect.), but only use one. The Crazy Nut is awesome!
