First race with the Crazynutracing head and it is truly a fine product! This is probably one of the very few true racing upgrades. Racing because it is lightweight and truly cools far better than the stock head. Best money I ever spent on an engine upgrade!

Tried the Crazy Nut head on my JP .12 this weekend, AWESOME! I already had an aftermarket head on it that dropped temps 40deg., put the Crazy Nut head on and dropped another 50deg.! No kidding, at least an honest 80deg. drop over the stock JP head, unbelieveable!

I don't think there is any ROAR rule regarding heads. . .

Mine unfortunately broke in two pieces yesterday.
I went down the backstretch when the head came out of the car. I broke off at the second rib from the bottom.

No crash involved

stefan, not trying to be rude, but how does the head come out of the car with no crash involved? The compression stroke just shot it out or something? I wish I could've seen that one.

The head broke off at the second cooling rib from the bottom.
It looks like it was caused by the vibration of the engine.

Crazy nut probaly went a bit to low on wall thickness.
Maybe mine had just a crack from production.

Who knows, fact is that it went flying down the backstretch.
First I thought it was the complete head and that the screws came loose, but the engine was still running.

The head button and the lowest two ribs were still there.

Mike Webb, you are right, how did you know?

I did notice one very interesting thing with the head though. Because of its design it actually resonates the engine sound with a very unique 'ting'. It's definitely not the most durable head though. A compromise that I can definitely live. I think that in a sedan body you're safe, it a GTP body things can get pretty messed up!

Yes, you can hear the difference with this head on your motor. It gives a unique "zing", especially down the back straight. The positive remarks never stop when my sedan body comes off. Best thing I've ever bought, next to the JP .12 it sits on. And my NTC3, of course.

Spoke with David from Crazy Nut Racing today....he has sold over 60 MT12 Heatsinks with no problems or returns. He said his heads are GUARANTEED! Very cool guy!

Stefan...he said he will be sending you a new head..don't worry!

I got my Crazynut head about 2 weeks ago....and just like NTC3 said....its the best engine upgrade I have ever bought...dropped my temp about 80 degrees! My RB 5 port turbo is even faster!!!

Keep up the great work Crazy Nut!

Default It get's even better.

David contacted me and told me that he is sending me a new head w/o even seeing the old one.

I had not sent the old one back because I wasn't quite sure what happened and I was too busy this weeek, but I will do so next week.

David can probably find out what it was.

If it was my fault I'll let you know.

Great support, thanks David.
