Battery Type

Hey can someone please tell me what type and what mAh batteries do the pro use for the long mains? Lipo, Life or NiMh.

With a full 1600mAh NiMh/Life/LiPo pack it is easy to drive an hour.

What about a 1100mAh LiFe 6.6V ?

Depends what scale as well. Using high voltage servos (particularly savox) I think 1600 is the minimum needed for an hours main. 1100 is a bit skinny for my liking. Plus I like the extra voltage of a lipo pack.

Critical... On a 1/8 with Savox or ACE servo's I do use 500-550mAh in an half hour main final.
