hey, they made the part and they allowed us to see their factory drivers using it. That's capitulation no matter how you look at it. Even if they tried to PR the whole thing they still admitted the problem by giving the racers another option.

Still - going str8 to picco brothers for power was a shrewd move.

I only wish the japanese heavy-hitters were there - it's kinda like the 76-80 olympics ya know? Don't understand why two huge races like this couldn't be coordinated to NOT happen at the same time.

My prediction is that those very fast in a straight line cars will not last one very demanding hour, even though there really is no problem 'cause we're not having one and we don't know what you're talking about, but here's a different part if you think you need it.
I love NT's, it's just getting to be so interesting.
Why is the Pixi not fitting into a K factory V1R?

'cause the crank case on the pixi is too big to fit. You need to hack away at the chassis brace and the mounting holes in the chassis. The crank case on the Rossi is too long to fit the reflex.

probably nobody that wants to win...lol. Sorry - couldn't resist.

That engine is not very competitive with italian engines on a club level let alone on a track with a 280 foot str8. Only TR I've seen that was fast was modified.

It would have been nice to see the Japanese factory drivers teach the europeans and americans a thing or two. Too bad for Mugen, Kyosho, and Yokomo. Moreover it means no MTX-3. I heard the European Kyosho team is here instead of the Japanese team and the other Japanese companies obviously have their american drivers there to hold fort. I dont get why they couldnt schedule the two events at seperate times. Is it that hard?

I'm not sure if they were factory drivers or not but I did see 2 or 3 Japanese with Kyosho T-shirts on. I'll try and get more information when I go back tomorrow.

I agree with you guys, how hard is it to schedule 2 events that large at seperate times? Don't they plan these things a year in advance? That kind of stinks that not everyone could be there.

I also agree with patelladragger, AE caved no matter how you look at it. They made us the part and allowed their drivers to use it at National/World events. Nuff said.

It'd be nicer to see the best racers from electric tc go head to head with the famous nitro guys.
Well, Im leaning toward the AE boys on this one! Has anyone seen Billy there ? He was TQ in the last pre world, wasn't he ?

If you mean Billy Easton, he's there, and doing quite well.

Go Associated!

and ur point is? that would mean that alot of japanese drivers such as Masami and others would be competing, not any different if all the japanese factory team drivers from Yok, Kyosho, and Mugen that make nitro touring sedans came this time around. Most of the cars are made in Japan, so it goes to figure that Japanese drivers would be competing either way.

Someone mentioned that Masami was not competing. Looking at the list, I see his name. Probably not there yet...

I don't believe it was invite event only. We have a lot of our local guys running at the event. Unless....they're just letting us run at the event because it's OUR track...
