That's interesting information on what the 705 includes...

But how do you achieve this "new" geometry when the 705 uses the same parts as the Impulse PRO kit on the front upper / lower arms, same front steering knuckles / hubs and same front bulkheads?

Just noticed that one Simon Carmilleri is fifth fastest after timed practice. Now if this is in fact Simon Camilleri from Australia he was running a vonerr when he left Oz. The best part of this is that we're not slow down here.
Go you bugger go!

The Simon Carmilleri that they mentioned was running a Serpent... They could be wrong.

Anyway, I'm suprised that Josh Cyrul is running the Sirio. I would have thought he would have gone with the JP since he is sponsored by them??

And the other thing... Picco on a TC3??

If it's Simon Camilleri he runs a voner and left Oz with one, he may have been got to and corrupted over there.
The're all tarts when they get to a major comp, you never know who's in bed with who!

I did see a few Yokomo drivers & a few Mugen drivers, looked like local guys (here in the states). There was a whole team from Koyosho & Serpent. Of course the whole Associated team was there, but I only saw 2 guys from Trinity (Josh & Matt). Keep in mind this was early in practice, and alot of guys where saying not everyone was there yet. Hopefully more big names will show, everyone thats good enough to race there is a pro.

Just passing along what I was told by Doug and Ralph at the Serpent booth. Take it with however many grains of salt you feel necsecary.

More from the Serpent site:

Since this was only a practice day, perhaps a better indication of who’s fast would be the best lap times. The best time so far is a 22.4, done yesterday by Barry Baker. Here are a few of the best laps today, copied from the heat standings from the 200mm class:

Racer Fastest lap
Ralph Burch Jr. 22.7
Barry Baker 22.7
Billy Easton 22.7
Adrien Bertin 22.9
Walter Henderson 23.1
Michael Salven 23.3
Mike Blackstock 23.3
Josh Cyrul 23.3
Travis Amezcua 23.4
Milko Tenthof 23.5
Chris Tosolini 23.5
Julius Kolff 23.6
Brandon McNally 23.7
Joel Johnson 23.8
Mark Pavidis 23.9
Robbie Collins 24.3
Marty Barnes 24.3
Don Jones 24.6

man - even though I don't dig the NTC3 I've got to give associated their props - no matter how they finish. They had engine problems at the nats - so they bite the bullet and admit their tank was crap and let their factory drivers roll the new design. A lot of companies would have went to the grave claiming there was nothing wrong.

Not only that but they see that trinity probably ticked off picco by bringing in two rival italian engines, and they go get the picco brothers themselves to tune their factory boyz cars. Can you say brilliant! I mean the dig on picco's has always been getting the darn things to run reliably - but people ALWAYS say once you get them going they are ballistic fast! Never heard anybody say a picco was slow. So associated says lets go get the mutha's who ought to know how to tune them

Man - I can see Ernie tossing and turning in his bed now! lol. Very smart manuevering if you ask me.

Ummm, didn't AE actually went to great lenghts denying the fact that there was something wrong with the tank even though during the nats, pictures of Billy's car showed otherwise? Did you go to AE's official forum?

He he he, Ernies biggest problem is that the pixi will not fit the K factory voner.
My prediction is that those very fast in a straight line cars will not last one very demanding hour, even though there really is no problem 'cause we're not having one and we don't know what you're talking about, but here's a different part if you think you need it.
I love NT's, it's just getting to be so interesting.

That's right, there is no problem. I no longer have any problems with the pipe, tank, diffs, chassis or diff cases. Go you Voners!!
