The way they did the worlds this year was Roar took resumes for other entries and then opened up any remaining spots to the public after a certain date

Default 8th Worlds

Thats what I thought, Jack. Michael is planning to run his Impact at the nationals. He is very confident that he can do well in the 235mm class. He hasn't raced his 8th scale but once or twice so he really doesn't feel like running it at the nats. Maybe there will be extra slots available, so if we can attend the worlds, he can get in.

It's official, I will be there this weekend. We're heading down Friday night. Probably staying at the Hamiltonian with the racers (that's where we stayed last weekend). I hope to catch the entire day Saturday on video, or at least on film. I'm heading out to buy a wide angle lens for my camera & camcorder today. Let me know if you can make it. That goes for any of you guys, if your going to be there let us know.

Yeah, I know how you feel about your job. I'm a QC Inspector at a local steel plant. We run 365/24/7. To get a day off you have to turn in a request 2 months in advance, first come, first serve, with a rotating shift preferance! It is a MAJOR pain. I got a REALLY good buddy to work 2 doubles this weekend for me, he must need the money! Did I mention I work 3rd shift too? Feel sorry for me yet? Just kidding, I would have called off too, just to see this event. I keep telling myself "And how long do you think it will be before the Worlds is in your backyard again?". I hope to see you there.

Not sure. He did race against other MTX-2, Impluse, Kyosho's (a few of the drivers were in the A mains at the 1/8th Worlds) so it wasn't luck.

"uhhh...I didnt know you guys were paging me...my batteries must of died...I told you guys to invest in some good NiMH Batteries or Enegizer E2 Liths. Just shows ya these no barnd generic batteries suck "

I will find a way...

ne ways...looks like the reason Burch didnt make it in those rounds was due to his KO Steering wheel breaking off his TX...and seeing that he is left handed...that was a hard to find part yesterday...I hope he has one today he is a good racer and would hate to see that is a reason why he didnt make it into the mains...
