Also forgot if you dont plan on racing. Just get an hpi RS4 3 EVO which can actually be raced somewhat...just needs to be in a slower nitro class if you have one. But its a good car for parking lots and racing. Its also shaft drive so you wont have to worry about pebbles getting stuck in belts.

Or the TC3 RTR is good.

I used to have an HPI RS4 3 Type SS, which was a really sweet car. But I grew out of nitro and really got into electric heavily, so it has a new owner. It's very upgradeable, but none of it is necessary, except for maybe the MIP Racing Clutch. I think your best choice will be the HPI RS4 3, it's a sweet ride, upgradeable, and runs strong out of the box for very little dough.

go with the HPI....here's my reasons.......

HPI parts can be found anywhere......The ball diffs in the TC3 are NOT a low maintenance item.........At last years HPI challenge, the Nitro stock class leaders were within 1 or 2 laps of the modified R40 class a main guys.....and that was a STOCK rtr...........(I should know,I won the nitro stock class)so there is no reason you can't race the RTR on a club level...The HPI is a stronger car........and will take more abuse.......

and the biggest reason?.......look the support team for HPI.....the web site......the hop ups....ALL the bodies that pop right on cause they are designed for the car...(not to mention the new HPI prepainted bodies)..

BTW,I have had plenty of associated products...and still own a nitro tc3...so I speak from experience....

Yup... for what you are going to do with the car Sonic... go with the HPI RTR.

Take a look at their full range I am sure there will be something you like.

With their kit then I would need 2 servos and radio? besides the fuel and such..

Is Futaba good quality?
I found radios with the servos from towerhobbies for around $75..and I dont need any fancy radios or anything.

get this one http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXENN0**&P=0 or this one http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXASX3**&P=0 . yes you do need 2 servos. if your getting this car just to run around in a parking lot, all you need is the 2nd one i listed. cheap and works. thats the one i bought with my rs4 3.
