*** Quick nitro TC3 engine question ***
 

Good evening people. I've got a guy at work wanting to get a new engine for his Ntc3. Anyone know if the Hpi Star Nitro 3.0 would be a direct fit? He's not much of a Rc guy and just wants the car to run and to only spend $100 to get it there. He needs a motor mount also but I've got that handled. Thanks guys/gals.

yes it should fit may need to trim the crank end to fit the ntc 3 clutch stub though ae still has the sheet in tech discontinued models

You need to find an old .12 motor that was competitive for cheap, ie: jlr red dot tuned, old rb motor, etc.....

He won't be doing any racing competitive isn't a need Haha. He's not a really a Rc guy if you will. He even said "I just want it to run until I break something then it'll prob sit in the garage for a while again. Honestly I don't really want to put my time In something someone doesn't really care about. The only reason I have it is because I just love Rc vehicles Haha. True addict I guess. It's funny him telling me how fast it is, even wants to race my vehicles.
