anyone know a quick and easy way to make adjustments to he kyosho 3D clutch (like on the voneRR) ???

what adjustment are you talking about? Gap, Endplay, Spring?

Josh's article is good. Do you have any specific questions about this clutch? Myself and a lot of other Kyosho racers here use this clutch and we can help. If you are just looking for a quick way to adjust your clutch, this tool is cool.

I have one in my aresenal, though I did have to modify it a bunch to get it to work on our clutch bells.

thanx for the response, i will check out those articles when i get home.

i am not new to nitro racing, but am new to this clutch system.

i am just in the process of running in a new sirio s.12 and the clutch wont engage at low enough revs for me to run the motor at low spped for the first couple of run-in tanks. i dont want to rev the motor high at this stage.

i have set the spring as per the manaul, but now need to back it off so it will engage sooner.

i was just after a tip so i can make this adjustment quickly to suit my track ect witout having to remove the clutch bell.

You can use a tool like the one I posted or you may be able to stick a 1.5mm allen wrench in the side of the clutch bell and turn the flywheel.

If the motor is too rich it will not engage the clutch properly. I broke in a couple of Collari .12s this weekend and they were pretty rich with factory needle settings. These motors are based on the Sirio so you may need to lean the top end out a little and the clutch should start coming in.
