i picked up a used rs4 2 i think and it has the 2 speed but the set screws or what ever was there are gone for the clutch that engages 2nd gear.need pictures or manual to see what all when there

On the HPI site you can download the manual. If it is not listed in the manual (2-speed was an option with older models) you can find the manual of the gearbox or just download te manual of the RS4-3-SS models (standard with gearbox).

The SS models are self assembly kits

hpi did away with most of there old manuals online and i think the rs4 3 ss is different

If it doesn't have the screw, chances are the spring and ball that go in there are missing as well I'm about 90% sure that the screw, spring and ball from the traxxas 2 speeds will work. I know they're mostly internal 2 speeds except for the 4tec, but I believe they will work.
