Default cutting down front bumpers to fit bodies on kyosho why ???

hey guys
is it just me or is it everyon that cuts down the front rubber bumpers to fit the bodies ?

i have a kyosho fw-05rr and my mate with his rrr also does the same.
is this normal or what do you guys do to overcome this ?

Yep, i had to cut down the bumper to fit the Protoform Mazda 6 body for my RRR.
I`d say they make the bumpers larger than normal so they fit a large range of body shells and then allow the builder to trim them to size.........a nice sharp hobby knife helps immensely when trimming them to size

Yes, it's normal because the stock bumper is oversized and very soft.

We offer a bumper that is much lighter and stiffer that is a direct fit for a number of bodies including the popular Mazda and Parma Alfa. Many of the top Kyosho Team Drivers will be sporting the new P-Dub bumper this weekend at the ROAR On-Road Nats http://www.pdubracing.com/products.htm
