Hi guys,

I am having a brain fart. The practice on Friday, does it start at 8am or noon. Trying to see if I come in Thursday night or Friday morning.

Also, what is the track address, so I can do a expedia search for hotels.

From what I remember this track has a different address for their shop versus the track and I don't want to use the wrong address. This area is very difficult in terms of using GPS and finding the track location.

DJ....don't use the hobby shop address, it is a different location. They do have a on site hobby shop which is the same address as the track. 2800 Schweitzer Road Joliet, IL 60435.

Phil, I have only been there twice before, but I remember both times all of us racers waiting outside till noon I think to get in Friday. I will check more to make sure. To see if we fly Thursday night or Friday morning.

Friday practice, 10-8
Saturday open at 8:30 qualifying starts 11:00
Sunday open at 8:30 racing starts at 10:30

Don't forget we are having the barbecue like last year on Saturday.

Hey DJ,

We "Texas GT8 Boys" did a 8:30pm(Sunday) departure time from Midway last year, we made it but just barely. We missed out on the awards too. Its a good hour drive from the track, plus fill the rental and the bag check in/ TSA lines at airport were backed up took almost 2hrs to get through.

This year we're opting on leaving Monday. We are scheduling to arrive Thursday night and leave Monday morning.

Hopefully I will make it this year.
