If it's a shaft car, look over the drive train and make sure the dogbones are there. If that's okay, I would check the clutch.

When you crashed, where was the physical damage sustained?

Your very helpful and yes I'm missing one dog bone but the power doesn't come from the front does it need all 4?

The power from the engine is transferred to the transmission which redirects the power to to the front and rear wheels via dogbones. So if one of the (center) dogbones is intack and your not getting power there, I would look over the transmission (make sure nothing is stuck and gears are still meshed). From there I would check the clutch. When it was revving, was the flywheel turning?
