Check that you put the right spacers for your servo. I have rubber gromitts for my airtronics. Check your spacers.

The servo horn is hitting the chassis? As in the height of the servo mount is wrong or what?

You are gonna have to mill in a knotch on the chassis plate. I'm running a aluminum horn and I did that. It works fine.
Is this what you are talking about?

Mine just barely touched with a 9000s, in the same location as the picture from "Ghettoteacher". I just took a dremel sanding wheel and notched the underside of the graphite plate enough to clear the servo arm.

I dont understand, are we talking about the radio tray or the chassis?!
are you currently using a plastic horn or an aluminum one?

Hey J, I was looking at the pictures and my chassis for about a half an hour. Two things I see. Mind you, my 960 is not a 07 so I don't know about the changes to the kit.
1. Your steering servo bracket is different than mine. I don't have the two holes on the top my bracket.
2. Your servo arm looks different. I know that I replaced the arm with an aluminum one but.... ?????? It should fit.

The transponder mount itself is carbon fiber (#1666).
This setup is also available as a set. (903196)
As far as the horn goes, it looks like the factory one, but i still dont see where its possible that the horn hits the chassis..

the horn has more offset,
the output shaft is offset from the servo body
most likely the servo body is offset from it support bracket

I see the challenge, the JR 9000s is a larger/taller than average servo. The servo mount (with our without the 2 holes for the carbon transponder holder) is the same size.
Using my 9000s, I actually mounted my servo from the inside of the servo mount, which took a touch of grinding on the servo mount to get it to fit. The challenge is when you mount the JR servo with the mounting lugs on the outside of the servo mount instead of the inside of the servo mount the taller JR servo extends to far across the carbon opening.
