Default Salven + 960 German Champions!

They say the proof of the pudding is in the eat - if that is true, then Salven devoured his oponents today with his new 960.
After only 13 laps in the German National's final, he had lapped every other competitor!

It was a wet final, but slowly dried throught he 40 mins - there really isn't much to report, due to the dominance which Salven showed - at the end he had (if I have the figure right) 9 lap advantage over his rival Oliver Mack in 2nd place.

Salven simply didn't put a foot wrong and compared to the others, you'd have thought he was driving on a dry track - his car seemed hardly to be affect by the wet conditions, whilst his rivals slid their way around the track.

Cheers, Mark.

I've been in Groningen today, also took some pictures, but I see that Jaap (the guy from the by _cyclops_ metioned website) already put a lot of them online.....

As Michael Salven won the first race in Germany, Rick did it in Holland.....
and how......

The track in Holland is a real tyre killer, the runner-up, John Ermen, needed to change his tyres of his MRX4 after 15 Minutes in the main final, while Rick drove 30 Minutes with 1 set of tires......
the tire wear after 30 minutes was exactly the same as it was after 15 minutes on a MRX4....... to be continued.....

Hey Guys

Do you think that the new 960 shocks will be able to be used on the 710? Anyone know if they are similar in that front smaller than rear likeprevious?

Cheers

Shocks can be used on the 710. The fronts are still shorter than the rears.

No, not yet Reto! My international retirement will be in Halifax, but after winning the national in Heemstede last weekend I will also run the last race in Apeldoorn in october. That will be my final race....

And even still, retired does not immediately mean retarded now does it
