I think it is better because makes the car stiffer and in any case is an additional tuning device (High bite track needs stiffer chassis) It is not possible to install in the std chassis

Not sure if anyone has seen this http://www.mytsn.com/forums/forum.as...lo=1&sm=0&fi=1

Thanks Paolo, im looking around for the tires but its not easy getting a shop that will ship them to Ireland! I just want to get 1 or 2 sets to comapre them to what im running.
Just to make sure, as i know these tires have only just been released by jaco, would you be able to give me a link some pictures of the rims they are on and the proper name for the tires?

Btw, what tires were you running before that you were comparing them to..?

Default Jaco

I tested the Jacos today. The tires worked just as described by Paolo. I ran 38's today at my local track Revelations, and the car was very stable on the Jacos. I ran them back to back against the Ellegi and the car was definitely more planted. On the Ellegi the rear end of the car wanted to step out a little but with the Jacos it was stuck. I let a couple of other 960 drivers try them and they had the same results.

I looked, and the S960 Setup Book does not have information about steering Ackermann. I went to the new XRAY T2 Setup Book, and found this information:

"If the car steers well off-power but pushes on-power, then use more Ackermann effect (straighter linkages) and decrease your transmitter EPA/dual rate."

"If the car steers well on-power and pushes off-power, or if you can hear the front inside wheel chattering at mid-corner, then use less Ackermann effect (more angled linkages)."

I hope this helps.

Possible with a XRAY car, difficult to hear with a 960....
