Hey Chris...thanks for all your efforts in helping out the Serpent guys. If you look at last year's race, there were only 3 or maybe 4 guys running Serpents but there has been a resurgance of Serpent products here on the west coast and we will see quite a few this weekend.

Glenn,

I'm glad I could help you guys.

Chris

yeah it "did", but I wish I could better understand (let alone get a better "look") on the way the universals "differ" in "mounting" for both quick release & "threaded" like you explained to me...

Kev over @ Ace hooked me up this past weekend (hehehe) and I really got some good track time yesterday @ the Silverbowl...Rich laid down some VHT towards the latter part of the day and the weather was perfect after 12 o'clock....

Need to find a JP spring so I can try the set up you mentioned with the c. weights and all.....

question: did you do the rear shock position "mod" as well???? did you have this done when you ran @ the Silverbowl weeks ago???

thanks as always

The axles that come with the universals are threaded inside so you can use the wheel nuts.

I ran the shocks in the stock position in Vegas.

The JP clutch spring is available right on the Mugen website. Look for it under JP parts and accessories.

I actually ordered some stuff from their website and the JP clutch spring is out of stock. But Robbie said that Ace hobbies has ordered alot recently and that I should check with Kevin.

Jeremy always puts in extra effort in to get my bodies done before a race. Sometimes I put him in a bind. I did not get the bodies to him till this past Monday and I need them for this coming weekend. He had about a day to do them so he could ship them back to me. Luckily he paints quite a few of them for me at a time.
