Question to any of the guys who race
How would you rate the 960 08 against the Kyosho M3
I realize that the answers could only be opions since this is a Serpent forum
But maybe a friend has one or someone let you drive one
Any input would be helpful
Not sure which is the right car as of yet
Able to get support for both

Iíve had both cars. I was the first one to have a M3 on the west coast. The car is very good.

Although after I bought my 960 I donít see why I didnít buy it in the first place. The cars is just fast, its very responsive to setup changes and the sweet spot is very wide. One thing I noticed over the M3 is that the metal parts on the Serpent are more durable than on the M3. You also get a lot more hopups in the box with the 960, for a little less money. Rear adjustable sway bar, one piece engine mount, and side stiffeners, all options on the M3

The M3 is a great car but the 960 is superior to it, IMO.

hello guys, what is wrong with serpent? because on most sites you cant order any parts and kits anymore and they say that serpent is having some problems,
i know that serpent has moved production to asia for cheaper production but i dont hope that the end of serpent is in sight.
do you know some more details?
thanks in advance for your reply

Serpent is still in business and working on new products as we speak. As for ordering parts, there are placing you can order. Not sure about over sea's sites but here in the USA you can use Kamikaze and there might be others. I just know they are the most popular at the moment.

You can also call Serpent America and they can give a list of dealers in the areas you may live. The Serpent.com site also has new dealers information if you go to their site ( for other contries ). Yes Serpent has been going through changes, but they are still here and are making big changes to better the brand and service.

Hope this helps,

DJ Apolaro

thanks mate. more loctite i will try , but one day i would like to remove the pulley of the 2 speed shaft i do have that pulley system on my car, it must have been the latest 08, as i got OS2 and some other good bits in my kit. maybe this makes up for the extras i seemed to have got. thanks M7H, ill let ya know if its ok this weekend. maybe i mix the both blue and red.
