If it is a hairpin, what you want is to be able to brake and attack the apex right? So in some cases if the rear end is too planted it can take away that initial steering response he's looking for. Once traction is applied to one area of the car, you remove steering somewhere else. In this case it seems that his rear end settings are super planted and the front end feels like its setup to take away some steering other than the detached sway.

I think he has two options:
Reconnect that rear sway bar and play with its stiffness.
Lower the front shocks and leave the front sway bar on in its flattest position.
well i can see that in some cases but we did not ask him what the track was like and what shore tire he is running those are major factors

I run red all the way around (track sprayed days). 45 shock oil, Red front, yellow rear on non treated days (practice sessions). Rear sway bar at 45 degrees. Front shock position at lowest point. set rear at 2.5, and front at 1.5 toe.

I will try Lowering the front shock position and inclining rear schock position.
And last options are wos steering blocks. Do you guys tried the wos steering block is it worth.
what the ride height on your car and what the over hang in the front of the body

Default steering

Hi Guys,

Im using
- 35 shore GRP tires all around. front 68mm, rear 74 mm.
- My ride high is front: 7mm, rear.7,5 mm
- my body over hang is 8 mm.
- I am using proline Lola body. At the moment I cant get the central body
Our LHS has not this body.
- The track is very clear and new. But the grip is not enough. We put every
time Cola on the track Actually the grip condition is . Medium.

between thnx for the many answers.

Currently I did try my 950 with the setup you told me (racer Z) and it did help a lot...
I'm just trying to see what other little changes I can make to be able to hit hard on the gas when I come out of the turns...right now is almost there, but still you can tell that the rear end is about to give up....and that makes me slow down on my times..(scare that the car turn sideways) So I just want to be with confidence that the rear end is not going to give up....

I'm running red springs front and yellow rear...
Shock positions for the rear is on the second hole staring from the bottom.

Any Ideas on what else I should try to adjust.

thank,

Guillermo

RC-ProSpeed If you're running at 301 Raceway try laying your shocks in the last hole from the bottom, ride height around 5.5 front 6.0 in the rear.....I've found that using 35 shores all around I use 1.0mm of tire wear for a 5min qual., since the sweeper start and finish at 301 is a right turn I use more camber "side-to-side grip" on the pipe side of the car "no more than 0.5mm...but I may try 1.0+!!

Dem Snakes!! Dem Snakes!!!

On power coming out of the corner: Try more rear toe less dampning, less rear sway bar angle in the rear and less droop in the front like 0 instead of 1.
