for off throttle steering, nobody mentioned overdrive ratio. for me, the 6mm split makes the car push, and reducing the caster helps.

so far, i like the turn in response with a 7mm tire split. however i still have trouble on corner exit, where i get too much throttle induced oversteer. (maybe 6.5 would be nice?)

They have more steering at corner entry. I did some different setups but didnt work. Here is my last setup but has not enough steering!

Front
Sway Bar: none
Hanger : Alu hanger inner hole.
Shock position: upper
Shock oil: 40WT
Shock piston: 3 Holes
Shock spring; red
Caster: stock
Wheel base: Long
Downstops: +1
Steering block: Std
Ackerman: long-wide
Camber: -1.5 / -1.0
Toe: L/R -1 deg
Width: 252

Rear
Sway Bar: none
Roll Center: low arm in the bottom , upper arm inner pos.
Shock position: in the Bulkhead
Shock oil: 40WT
Shock piston: 3 Holes
Shock spring; red
Downstops: +9
Width: 262
Camber: -3.0 / -2.5
Toe: +2.5 deg
Body mount: Second hole from the outside

Can some one give me any idea? Is the setup which I did tottaly wrong for more steering . Today I ordered the new wos steering blocks hope that will work.
Short wheelbase worked best for me. Track width is also set at 250 and 260 with the rear shocks on the bulkhead and red springs on all 4 corners. 40 weight shock oil and 3 hole pistons in the front and 2 holes pistons in the rear. Also use the Central body. That body seems to keep the car balanced while adding more steering!!

I am running red springs. I like the way the weight transfers to the front but you have to run the rear shocks on the bulkhead.

I will try Lowering the front shock position and inclining rear schock position.
And last options are wos steering blocks. Do you guys tried the wos steering block is it worth.
I also forgot to mention that I am also running both sway bars flat and the rear sway bar mount position out on the arm. Also I noticed a big difference going from 2.5 rear toe to 2.0. That will help your off power steering issues but you must be careful because rear swaybar adjustment gets very sensitive. Where with 2.5 toe you wouldn't notice a really big difference when you made small changes on the rear swaybar angle. You will notice alot more change when you adjust the rear swaybar at 2.0 rear toe!! The car may start to become a little more skidish!!

How is your car on the straight. With this much short track width and wheel base it should be nervous on the straight. I heard from Paolo;with the long wheel base is the car much more easy to drive.

This is really important, the body.....
The central works really well on the 960 (they say) but I know from a Mugen driver who tried it on his Mugen, it sucks (for him).....

So, nice that people give there set-up, but asking for a set-up is only usefull if you use the same body....

I don't notice any oversteer issues with the short wheelbase on the straight with the central body but I did notice it with the LOLA Body!! I tried both and with the LOLA body I can't get the car to turn in like I want and the car pushes in the slow sections. I noticed that I do have to increase the wheelbase for the straight away with the LOLA body!!

Sorry but I forgot that you were running the 950 or did you step up to the 960?

Body: Central or Audi R10 ..Try some positive toe in the front (1.5), and less camber in the rear (2.0).More forward caster in the front....One thing i've noticed about mugen's is that they use less rear camber i've heard 2.0 or less which gives them alot of steering....Rear Stabilizer tilted 45 degrees will increase front bite. Also, use a narrow front wheel width.

Dem Snakes!! Dem Snakes!!!

if you want more steering just shorten your car by 2 mm it still will have the stablity but it will be more aggressive. itf you want more narrow your car to 250 front and 260 rear . and yes 45 degress on rear sway bar. also 45 wt shock oil front and rear.reduce rear toe in to 2 deg and raise your rear roll center to the middle. these thing in combination will add a lot of steering to your car but control able. start here i do have more thing you can do butthis will help alot. oh yeh i dont know what tiresyou run i dont run anything softer than 38"s but i have run 40's on a low bit with very good results witha 6.5 split with 68 mm front and 74.5 rear .5 rack angle. ride height 7 front 7.5 rear the most important thing was the central lola it is the best body by far that is available . and there isn't a close second. i saw a new body that will be out in a month or two that looks close but the central is the one. it makes life simple irun my rear shocks on he bottom holes on the shock tower that also frees up the car
