Lucky for me I race all year round. Every 1st and 3rd Sunday I'm racing the 960, every 2nd I'm racing off road with the XB8TQ and every 4th Sunday I try and trip away to a club day in another city with off road.

The car is not too bad. I am still looking for a little more off power steering so I think I am going to go back to the short wheel base, Little less rear toe and either purple or grey rear springs. Seem like that was the combo that worked for me last year.

We all want a little bit of more steering but the car feels much harder to drive.. and can feel little unstable on straights.. hmm.. maybe shit behind the control

I tried the set-up that Michael Salven ran at the Florida Winternationals and I definitely had more steering. In fact I had too much steering. This set up uses the wide offset steering blocks and they are installed right on the left side and left on the right side. I appears to minimize camber change when steering. I ended up having to switch the red rear for yellow rear and that got the rear more planted. Stiffening the rear bar to the hardest position also helped. By the end of the day I was very satisfied with the balance and handling of the car.

I'm after some help with my rear body mount. All the mounting holes are in the same place, yet the right side sits about 8mm higher than the left. Its quite noticable and I've spent ages looking at it and can't see why its like this.

Can you post a pic!! That seems strange but check the obvious stuff first!! Make sure the body is not cut incorrectly and also check the body mount holes. If you have to force the body into position on the car it could be tugging on the body mount a bit causing the rear to lift in the oposite corner!!

I don't have a camera. Its obvious by just looking at the car without a body on. I suspect the rear body mount is not formed properly as the more I look at it, the more I think it is slightly curving up on the right more than the left.

Can you find someone in your area with a 960 to compare?
