hey guys
I solved the problem inserting two shims of 0.3mm thickness between the engine and mount in each screw, also put some thread locking! Tomorrow I will test and break-in the engine! I can't wait !! I took off some material from the mounts too.

now I would like to know if do you take out all the endplay? I was reading the 960 manual.. and it says to set the gap to 0.7mm and then place some shims between the centax nut and bearing to avoid the bell touch the shoe. I did that, and I have something like 0.4mm of end play left. Do I have to take it out? Or just left as it is?

Does anybody have the Vector manual?
another question. This shims between the engine and flywheel is for gap setting?

Thanks a lot guys!!

What's the factory setting for the clutch nut on Vector Chassis? I set mine but I think it's too loose. A little of throttle and the wheels spins..

Put as little endplay as possible, but keep a small amount of lets say .1 mm, for expansion when the clutch is heated up......

Smaller bearings have a smaller contact footprint and less rotation-mass. This results in a smoother and lighter rotation. On the other side it will also reduce about 30 grams of overall weight.

Stay tuned, other developments are on track....
This are definitely going to be a great addition to the 960, http://www.serpent.com/product/903220

the new smaller bearings worked great this weekend at FT. Myers, had no problems with any of the spacers, and it made the car a lot lighter.
