fsho fsho fsho mang!
Well, with my first weekend out with the car, i decided to club race at Revelation Raceway here in Ontario, CA (www.revrace.com). I had used a setup given to me by everyone's favorite, Chris Verano. At first, the traction was incredibly high and caught me off guard, i only had enough time for 2 laps of practice. The setup was great, but i was VERY very limited on tires. I used 40's, but obviously they were too soft for our track. I decided to keep the setup, and just cut the tires. Although i over did the cut and the car was pushing. With all the misfortunes of this previous weekend (sunday the 13th), i still managed to end up in the 3rd position by the end of the race! All i can say is, the car is AMAZING!
Anyway, here is the setup i ended up using for this weekend to start with at revelation raceway!
Front:
Spring: Red
Shock Oil: 45wt
Shock position: upper
Upper Arm position: Inner (used alum upper arm mount)
Wheelbase: 4mm behind lower arm
Caster: 7mm in front
Tire: 40sh With 2 grooves 3mm wide (this is where i messed up, shouldve been only one 3mm groove)
Tire Size: starting @ 68
Front Toe: Toe out 1degree
Front Camber: 1.5degree
Roll center: 0mm under
Sway bar: 90degrees
Droop: 2mm
Ride Height: 7mm
Rear
Spring: Red
Shock Oil 45wt
Shock position: lowest
Upper arm position: Outer
Tire: 40sh
Tire size: starting @ 74
Body Mount position: 2nd hole from bottom
Sway Bar: 0 degrees (flat)
Sway bar mount on arm: Outer
Camber: 3.5degrees
Toe: 2.5degrees
Ride Height:7.5mm
Gearing: stock except for 1st gear spur @ 50T

OK, maybe someone can point me in the right direction here. I will list my current set-up. I have not been able to get enough steering (mostly concerned with entry & apex).
Front;
50wt (serpent oil) 3 holes/red springs
lower hole on tower
Sway bar disconnected
Dynamic caster set-up (this helped some, would have to post pics but it reduces caster as suspension is compressed).
35sh Serpent/Jaco
Short wheelbase helped, but had to go back to long for exhaust clearance.
0mm roll center spacers
Rear;
50wt. 2 holes/blue springs
Upper hole on tower
20 degrees or so sway bar
38sh Serpent/Jaco
middle roll center position for lower pins
I have adjusted toe & camber settings through the normal range.
I have also moved a bit of weight forward (1 once of lead to front of battery tray, LiPo battery behind the lead. Result is same weight as NiMh but slightly more forward).
The Jaco 38's test 2-3 points softer than the Jaco 35's! Will try 40 rear/35 front.
Any other ideas?

duneland, put the front swaybar back try 45. front shock mid. also try 1 mm
shim on front roll center this shoud give more steering at entry and mid corner
also try mounting the body a little more forward and less caster
on the rear a little more sway bar angle , ride ht 1 mm split between front and
rear( lower on front )
