Hi Rich,

Cant wait for the rear sway bar assembly to be available, looks good. Did I see Josh Cyrul using this as well? I have noticed lately that the adjustable swaybay moves from side to side a bit, is this why you guys dont use it?

Also, re: Delta no battery slot chassis. What is the part number for this? Can you still use the standard kyosho battery pack with this chassis?

Regards

The Rick Davis designed sway bar doesn't tweek like the Kyosho rear adjustable. Josh, Scott and Ralph all used our sway bar at the Nat's.

The Delta Chassis is a Delta unit - I believe Dave Campbell (Delta) did 50 chassis. I don't know if it's a "sale" item. It is very ridged - but, you must mount the battery in the chassis.

Good luck with the motor. Let me know if I can help when you have it running. We gear the motor very low and spin it up pretty high. The pipe and header is very important to end use. Good luck!

Rich, Thanks for the link great info! What is a good pipe and header combo. I have a max power 2018 pipe with a medium or long conical header, will this work .Thanks, Mike

The 2018 is a good pipe. We use it in milage situations. Thr 1005 RC likes the 9886 pipe with a seven ring conical. You might get the 4 dot, pyramid shape, High Compression head from Nova Rossi. Be sure you ask fot the 4 dot version.

I use a pack that has 5 AA 2000 mah cells, and I go through a full race day and still have juice in the pack. And keep in mind that I use 2 digital servos that drain more power than the regular sevos.

So why do they bother to use sub-C cells if AA has more capacity?

I have no idea but I know that you can even get AA's up to 2600 mah and those last forever.

On some cars you cannot fit AA's that's why they use sub c's or AAA's.

Hm...then how come the designers dont make the car equip AA at the first place? Is it because AA is heavier than Sub-C?

That's probably why. I had 5 AAA's before and my car was way under weight from legal, so I put the AA's and it is just right.

I just bought the 05 Evolva from rc-toro. The box only said it was the 03 world champion. Shouldn't it say 05 champion also? How can I tell it is 05 not 03 Evolva?

On the outside of the box it sould say this box was open and resealed by kyosho America. Stated that this kit has been upgraded to 05 specs. If it does not you have just the old 03 evolva kit
